Noteworthy Items: (1) Austin Kutcher set a new single-game record with 17 receptions vs. Canisius, NY. The 208 receiving yards ranks 2nd. (2) Quarterback Aiden Longwell converted five touchdowns passes against Youngstown Ursuline in a 42-13 Massillon victory. The effort ranks 2nd all-time for the Tigers. (3) The 102 points scored in Massillon’s 56-46 victory over Bedford was the second-highest scoring total in Tiger history. (4) Massillon defeated Canton McKinley for the sixth time in the last seventh tries, 16-15, in the inaugural rivalry game at Canton’s new Benson Field. Jamir Thomas carried the ball 42 times during the game, second best in Tiger history. (5) Massillon qualified for the playoffs for the fifth time in the last six years. (6) The Tigers captured their 11th playoff regional title with a 24-6 victory over New Albany.
