Noteworthy Items: (1) Massillon cruised through a perfect 10-0 season to capture its 3rd consecutive state title and also the national title. (2) Barberton was unbeaten through eight games, but in spite of scoring first was felled by the Tigers 35-6.  (3) Linebacker Chuck Vliet recorded 42 tackles against 58 plays (42 rushing, 12 passing) in a 23-6 victory over Warren Harding.
