Noteworthy Items: (1) The Tigers held a 21-14 lead against Cleveland St. Ignatius midway through the fourth quarter, but fell 26-21, with the deciding points coming with just two minutes remaining. (2) Massillon defeated Canton McKinley in the playoffs, 10-7, reversing a 35-21 regular season loss. (3) The Tigers advanced to the state semifinals before losing to Cleveland Glenville, 31-17. The Tarblooders were lead by quarterback Cardale Jones, who later started at the position for Ohio State.
