Noteworthy Items: (1) The Tigers led Cincinnati Moeller 24-7 in the fourth quarter, but ended up losing the road contest 28-24. Moeller finished the regular season 9-1 (losing to Altoona, PA), but lost to Canton McKinley in the state finals 31-16. (2) Massillon lost 27-14 to Canton McKinley, which captured the first of two consecutive state playoff titles.
