Noteworthy Items: (1) New Castle, Pennsylvania, snapped Massillon’s 26-game winning streak with a 7-0 victory in Tigertown.  It was the last contest Paul Brown would lose as coach of Massillon.  (2) The Tigers posted their third straight triumph over McKinley, while unveiling a new offense that used misdirection cutback running plays.  With the change they outrushed the Bulldogs 252-51.
