Noteworthy Items: (1) This was the highest scoring team per game in Massillon history up to that time (48 ppg). Defensively, they shut out eight opponents and surrendered just 13 points. (2) Cleveland Shaw failed to make a first down against the Tigers in a 66-0 loss. (3) The 6-0 victory over Canton McKinley was Coach Paul Brown’s first against the Bulldogs. (3) The undefeated season was the Tigers’ first since 1922, when Paul Brown was a player at Massillon.
