Noteworthy Items: (1) The Tigers held highly-touted Lincoln, Nebraska, to a mere 23 yards of total offense in a 40-6 victory. (2) Canton McKinley easily handled Injury-riddled Massillon in the final game to claim the state title. It broke the Tigers’ 52-game unbeaten streak and marked the Bulldogs’ first victory over Massillon since 1934.
