Noteworthy Items: (1) Massillon suffered its worst ever defeat, losing a road game to Dayton Steel 68-0.  So physical was Steel that the Tigers lost 7 of 11 starters to injury during the contest.  The following year, Massillon would turn the tables and defeat Dayton 31-7.  (2) Massillon stopped Canton McKinley at the 5-yard line as time expired to preserve a 13-12 victory.
