Noteworthy Items: (1) In the first round of the playoffs, Massillon was down to Walsh Jesuit 24-6 at halftime, but stormed back to win 42-24. Lamonte Dixon accounted for 195 of the Tigers’ 451 total yards of offense. (2) Massillon defeated playoff qualifier Middletown 17-7, while losing to qualifiers Cincinnati Moeller and Cleveland St. Joseph in the regular season and Cleveland St. Ignatius in the state semifinals.
