Noteworthy Items: (1) Massillon handed Cleveland Heights its first defeat in 25 games by the score of 2-0. The safety was the result of a blocked punt. (2) The Tigers won their inaugural game in the Northeast Ohio Big Ten League by defeating Barberton. Other league members included Warren Harding, Niles McKinley and Dover. (3) Massillon played its first-ever night game, against Conneaut.
