Orangemen

During the late 1970s, then Head Football Coach Mike Currence suggested that a separate group of Massillon boosters be formed for the sole purpose of raising money to support the football program.  These funds are used to provide food and financial assistance to families of players in need.  For example, Coach Currence assisted some players with special equipment, such as knee braces and athletic glasses, that the families were not able to afford.

The program was spearheaded by Paul David with the assistance of Phil Elum and has grown to a current size of 70-90 members.

The members, along with the current head coach, hold a yearly summer meeting / social gathering.  For an annual donation of $150, members receive a game parking pass for the lower west parking lot, their name in the football program and playoff game ticket preference. Membership application information may be obtained through Steve Berecek or Phil Elum (330) 833-4141.
