Noteworthy Items: (1) Massillon and Canton McKinley met twice, with the Tigers winning both times. The head coach of Struthers was Bob Commings, who became mentor of the Tigers in 1969. (3) The lone blemish in the season was a 13-6 loss to Akron Garfield, which finished 10-0-1.
